Nettle includes almost all known vitamins and minerals necessary for human health and growth and has the most chlorophyll of any herb. It nourishes the entire body as well as nourishes us in a way that allows receptivity to the natural energetic flow of our Spirit.

PK-V+

The taste is deep which reaches with the infusion as a dark green color approaching black. This tea boosts circulation and hair growth while adding shine to the hair and skin as well. Nettle tea is also considered to be an excellent tonic for women; it is a wonderful choice during pregnancy…

So many benefits of Nettle Tea

Nettle is beneficial as a spring tonic and rejuvenator.
CURRENT AVAILABLE TEA LIST – CLICK HERE!

Nettle is known for its ability to relieve symptoms of benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH), a condition in which the prostate becomes enlarged and causes men to develop problems with urination.
As a daily tea (3x/day), nettle’s high mineral content nourish whole the body

Cool nettle tea is a wonderful diuretic high in potassium, helping it effectively release excessive water and edema from the body without depleting potassium levels, as most diuretic medications do. This makes it useful for urinary problems such as stopped urine, gravel, bladder and kidney infections and enlarged prostate. The young greens make a nutritious and tasty food in soups, stir-fry, steamed and in casseroles. Long term use this herb is necessary for true effects in malnutrition.

Nettle Tea can relieve acne and other skin issues

It has been established that Nettle Tea can relieve acne and other skin issues very effectively. Nettle tea does this by cleansing your kidneys and your blood which in turn gives you healthy skin. It accomplishes this as it’s a natural detox and anti-inflammatory.

Nettle tea during pregnancy

Nettle will aid kidneys, nourish the mother and fetus, ease leg cramps and muscle spasms, reduce hemorrhoids, decrease pain during and after birth, prevent hemorrhage after birth, and increase richness and amount of breast milk.

According to Ayurveda, health is achieved by restoring our natural state of balance. When we live our life in a state of balance, our energetic shape is strong and stable, and here is no passage for disease. When we live life stronger, faster, stressfulness and out of balance, our energetic shell becomes fragile and disease can occur.

Ayurvedic treatment aims at balancing the doshas to neutralize the disease proces. Opposite of western medicine, which treats manifestations of disease, Ayurveda assess directly to the root cause of all disease.

How will Ayurveda help my condition?

By creating balance in your body and harmony in your mind, Ayurveda will help create an optimum environment for healing to take place. When the body is out of balance or harmony, it communicates this imbalance by creating simptoms. When balance and harmony are restored, symptoms disappear. This is how the body heals itself. *

Ayurveda offers many tools to support body and mind on its way back to the balance::

* Herbal formulas
* Nutrition / Dietary plan
* Lifestyle help
* Body therapies (Abhyanga Massage…)
* Pancha Karma
* Meditation
* Yoga
* Breathing practices
* Aromatherapy
* Color Therapy
* Sound Therapy

A daily self-care routine is a healthy invest of ones time. The return on your invest is physical and mental wellness; creative expression and purposefulness.

What do we value at Light Of Ayurveda?

Health • Happiness • Longevity • Ecology • Knowledge • Personal & Spiritual Development • Peace • Love

My journey down the path of healing arts started in 1995 when I discovered meditation and macrobiotic philosophy. Along the way, I attended many healing courses, yoga and vedic studies, and learned a lot about aromatherapy, herbalism, massage and energy work.

After I finished my studies at the University of Political Science in Zagreb, Croatia, I continued my work as a journalist for a daily newspaper and as a free-lance reporter for many magazines. For the last 15 years I used my knowledge to combine spiritual ways in my busy corporate lifestyle. After 15 stressfull but successful years in journalism I was ready to achieve a spiritual balance and bring more quality in my Life.

Life & Love brought me to America. Here I finished Ayurvedic education at California College of Ayurveda.

It is my pleasure to go along with you on Your Path of balancing body, mind and soul. Once balanced, you can fill life’s fulfillment, great energy and infinite happiness.

I am here to educate you, guide and encourage you on your path to balancing body, soul and mind.

I truly believe none of us was born to suffer or be sick. We are here to feel and experience this beautiful world from within and without. We are here to experience ultimate health which brings us to realize our dharma (Life Purpose).

We all are small copy of infinite Universe. In each of us reside small piece of Universe, a bit of God… Allow the simple grace of your being. Allow yourself to receive the Light of the Infinite… Light of Ayurveda.

Ayurveda states that oil is to the body as love is to the soul. We regularly “oleate” our cars and other machines but often forget to “oleate” our bodies.

The way of Ayurveda is the tradition of massage which becomes an important ritual to celebrate the purification of body and mind. Luxuriously relaxing, blissfully comforting, the Abhyanga massage gently applies warm oils to relieve accumulated stress and toxins from the body and mind as well. It is nourishing for all body types.

Utilizing the ayurvedic principles of dosha we accede to anyone individually, using different oils according to proper constitution and dosha (cooling coconut oil for balancing excess pitta or for treating cellulite, warm sesame oil to stimulate circulation for almost always cold vata…) In our practice, we use medicated oils and aromatherapy essential oils as well.

PROMO PRICE – AYURVEDIC BODY MASSAGE::

1 hour = $65 (regular price = $100)

Please make an appointment at: 310 283 7872 or email: tanja@lightofayurveda.com

Some of the benefits that can be expected from the regular performance of this pleasant warm oil ritual:

• Increased circulation, especially to nerve endings
• Toning of the muscles and the whole physiology
•    Calming for the nerves
•    Lubrication of the joints
•    Increased mental alertness
• Improved elimination of impurities from the body
•    Softer, smoother skin
• Increased levels of stamina through the day
• Better, deeper sleep at night
•    Relieves fatigue
• Promotes health in many ways.

VATA: SESAME OIL
Vata nature types tend to be cold, that’s why sesame oil (warm in nature) is best for Vata. Massaging the body with sesame oil quickly improves circulation and promotes healing tissues. Sesame oil has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and anticancer effects on the skin.

PITTA: COCONUT OIL
Always hot pitta types enjoy cooling coconut oil! Great for menopausal women experiencing hot flashes.

KAPHA: SAFFLOWER OIL
Kapha nature is heavy, and safflower oil is the lightest of oils, that’s why it especially benefits Kapha.

Ayurveda recommends different base oils and aroma blends depending on what you are attempting to balance. Coconut oil, for example, is an excellent cooling base oil. When combined with a relaxing aroma oil such as lavender, this massage oil will be effective in cooling down the mind, body and emotions. Sweet Orange or Geranium Rose aroma oils are fragrant and relaxing, Basil and Rosemary are vibrant pick-me-ups…
